Background

I graduated in July 2025 with a BS in Accounting & Finance from Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab — CGPA 3.80/4.0, OPM 85/100, 135 credit hours, entirely delivered in English. The degree covered Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Risk Management, Investment & Portfolio Management, Managerial Accounting, Audit & Assurance, Financial Reporting, Business Law, ERP, and Forensic Accounting.

Since July 2024 I've been an Accounts Executive at 1Financial-FZCO, managing bookkeeping and tax compliance for multiple UAE-based client companies using QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Xero. I've prepared and filed quarterly UAE VAT returns and Corporate Tax returns under FTA regulations, registered companies with the FTA, processed payroll, and filed FBR IRIS income tax returns.

Since August 2025 I've simultaneously been working as an Assistant Accountant at HA & Co. Chartered Certified Accountants, handling UK bookkeeping, VAT workings, Self Assessment returns, and Corporate Tax preparation using Xero, FreeAgent, TaxCalc, and Capium across a portfolio of UK SME clients.

I am currently studying towards the CIMA qualification at Strategic Level.
